Open the Daylight Portal β Dashboard loads with projects and phases.
Click Create a Job and begin entering customer details
Utility bill: select Yes (always).
Enter homeowner details:
Name, cell phone number, email (ALL REQUIRED)
Service address
Utility (select correct utility)
Installer (select project installer)
Assigned sales rep (if admin, assign rep)
Click Continue
Locate the new job β click Enter Details
Run Credit Inquiry: **Required Prior to Generating Agreement**
Enter Date of Birth.
SSN is optional to start
Enter stated income (Daylight minimum: $60,000).
Click Run Inquiry
If SSN is required you will receive a banner notification
Click Edit and enter SSN at that point
Click Re-Run Inquiry
Interpret result:
Green = Approved.
Red = Declined (shows reason: score <680, DTI >50%, recent delinquency/bankruptcy β€5 yrs).
If declined, the customer will receive a notice of why in the mail
You can try a different person from the home as long as they are on title
System Design Inputs:
Enter system size (kW or W; e.g., 11,500 W).
Select equipment from preloaded list.
Enter panel count per proposal (e.g., 22).
Select battery count (dependent on system size).
Click Save.
Commercial Terms:
Set escalator quoted to customer.
Click Save.
Select pricing:
Review E&C rate (Daylight procures on behalf of partners; expect competitive pricing and reach out to your company admin or Daylight should there be any questions or concerns about a price discrepancy).
Agreement Generation & Send:
Once details and credit are complete, Generate PPA Agreement button activates.
Click Generate PPA Agreement.
Click Send to email the agreement to the customer for e-signature.
Click Save.
