How to Request a Daylight Proposal in Your Dashboard

Requesting a Daylight Proposal

1. Open the Daylight Portal. Your Dashboard will load with your existing

projects.

2. Click Create Job to open the Create Job tab.

3. Enter all of your customer's information:

- Name, phone number, email

- Service address -- start typing and the address will auto-populate. Select

the correct one from the dropdown.

- Utility -- select the customer's utility provider

4. Once everything is filled in, click Request Daylight Proposal.

5. A form will pop up. Fill in the following:

- Average Monthly Usage -- enter the customer's average monthly usage.

Upload the utility bill if you have it.

- Annual Usage -- enter annual kWh if known (e.g., 9,400 kWh)

- EV Ownership -- select whether the customer owns an EV. If not, leave it

blank.

- Roof Orientation -- select all applicable directions (South, East, West,

etc.) for where panels can go

- Desired Offset -- Daylight systems allow up to 120%. Enter the customer's

target (e.g., 105%).

- Additional Details -- add any relevant notes if needed

6. Click Submit Daylight Proposal Request.

7. You'll know the request went through when you see Daylight Proposal appear

on the left-hand side of the job with a status of Requested.

8. Once approved, the status will change, the proposal document will be

uploaded and visible on the job, and you'll receive an email notification.
